My Fun Buddy complements the 2015 Primary Chinese Language Instructional Materials “Huanle Huoban” and reinforces students’ learning of the strokes and structures of Chinese characters. It encourages them to explore the learning of Chinese characters and lays a foundation for the future use of dictionaries. The key features of My Fun Buddy are: 1. Indexed to allow 3 different search methods: (i) radicals (ii) strokes, and (iii) Hanyu Pinyin. 2. Characters are selected from Huanle Huoban Primary 1 to 3 textbooks for a more targeted scope and allow lower and middle primary students to look up words with greater ease.

《欢乐伙伴》最近添了一个朋友—《欢乐伙伴好帮手》。配合2015小学华文教材《欢乐伙伴》中字形、笔画以及间架结构的教学，《欢乐伙伴好帮手》将进一步帮助学生巩固所学，激发他们探索汉字的兴趣，为将来使用字典打下牢固的基础。《欢乐伙伴好帮手》的主要特点如下：1.分为“部首检字法”、“笔画检字法”和“音序检字法”三大板块。2.仅收纳《欢乐伙伴》课本一年级至三年级的识读字，检字范围较小，方便低中年级的学生检索。
