Originally produced by CCTV and broadcast in China, this series of DVD program offers learners an opportunity to learn the Chinese language and experience the culture while enjoying the country's beautiful scenic spots in different provinces and cities, such as Sichuan, Xian, Jingdezhen, Shenzhen, Wenzhou, Huangshan and more. This program combines language skills with the learning of Chinese culture and history in an interesting, informative, and enjoyable way. In addition to the DVD, an accompanying book introduces all materials that appear in the program. Vocabulary list, Notes, Substitution Exercise and Conversation are included in each lesson. Each book is composed of 15 episodes from the TV program with brief introductions and photos of the corresponding scenic spots. More programs in different provinces/cities will be published soon. Each set includes one book and one DVD. In Mandarin Chinese and simplified Chinese characters.
