Paper-cut, one of the most popular traditional folk decorative art, has boasted a long history. It reflects not only the taste of Chinese people, but also their social values. Besides, as a representative folk art, its feature is worthy of in-depth study. The folk paper-cut has nice and auspicious signs and conveys the essence of Chinese Ontology, as well as the quintessence of Chinese traditional culture by its special words. On May 20th 2006, paper-cut was admitted into the list of first national Intangible cultural heritage by State Council. Sun Erlin, the main lecturer, was edified by his family even in his childhood.
