Childhood Stories of Beijing Memories consists of 4 books, which depict the childhood stories of the people of Beijing. This series is based on the everyday lives of children who live in Beijing back in the late 30’s to 90’s. It is suitable for both children and adults. Each book has a different style of illustrations, but they keep the same theme of urban stories told from the perspective of a child. The illustrations are aesthetic and vivid; they were drawn by excellent Chinese picture book illustrators. The abundance of color that is used in these illustrations will surely attract the attention of young readers. The series depicts an old Beijing with delicious food, fun activities, and nice scenery.
