本书是第1分册，包括100个成语，按照语义分了两大类：情感和婚姻。每个大类又分成很多小类，比如“情感”下面有描写高兴的、描写伤心的、描写后悔的、描写吃惊的……而“婚姻”下面包括描写爱慕的、描写夫妻感情的、描写婚姻家庭生活的，等等。书中成语有拼音、解释、翻译，有些成语还配有插图。书后附音序检索表。随书附赠例句录音的MP3一张。
