This series is compiled for high-school-age (16-18 years old), beginning Chinese learners, either taking Chinese classes in public or private school, or learning independently. The textbooks are divided into six volumes, each of which includes a student textbook, an activity manual, a teacher's book, and word cards. The purpose of the series is to equip students with basic communication skills in Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing, and the textbooks are mainly based on real life experiences that emphasize building students' interests in learning Chinese. The books' design is vivid and lively, featuring both pictures and texts, here are some sample pages. Both volumes A and B are recommended for the duration of the school year with one textbook taught per semester. Price is for each volume.
