CJ7 is a popular 2008 Hong Kong science fiction/comedy film about a young boy who begs for a popular robotic toy called CJ1 that his father cannot afford to buy him. His father visits a junkyard and picks up a strange green orb, passing it off as a new toy for his son. This orb transforms itself overnight into a cuddly alien creature that befriends Dicky and helps him make new friends at school.
